| Dear Friend, In the last 48 hours more than a dozen senators have come out against the Protect IP Act (PIPA), and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just announced he's postponing next week's vote on the bill. But PIPA isn't dead yet. Even after more than 10 million people took action to urge Congress to scrap this legislation, some in the Senate — including Sens. Levin and Stabenow — still aren't listening. Click here to tell Sens. Levin and Stabenow to do the right thing and stand up against PIPA. Momentum is on our side. Yet some senators are clinging to the idea that this Internet-censorship legislation should pass. They're calling for closed-door talks with Hollywood to create a less toxic bill. But they should have learned by now that you can't craft a bill without giving the public a seat at the table. Sens. Levin and Stabenow needs to know that PIPA — no matter what form it takes — should never see the light of day. Take a second to urge Sens. Levin and Stabenow to come out against the Protect IP Act. PIPA — and its cousin in the House, the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) — have been wounded, but they're still hobbling around the corridors of Capitol Hill. If we get Sens. Levin and Stabenow to stand with us, we could kill these bills for good. Thanks, Josh Levy P.S. Can you contribute $10 to help us kill PIPA for good?
